They asked why the fire in my eyes have died out.

This pain on the back of my shoulders
It’s not because of the weight of the world
That I’ve been bearing for so long.
Now it feels more like
My wings of an angel’s innocence
Of a butterfly’s beauty
Of a phoenix’s longevity
Have been ripped apart.
